Who are Healthwatch North Northamptonshire?
Healthwatch North Northamptonshire is the independent champion, for people using health and social care services across North Northamptonshire. Delivered by Support Northamptonshire on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council, the organisation listens to local people’s experiences of NHS and social care services, provides free, impartial advice and information, and ensures that the voices of residents influence the planning, delivery and improvement of health and social care. By gathering feedback from patients, carers and communities, Healthwatch North Northamptonshire identifies what is working well, highlights areas where services need to improve, and shares evidence-based recommendations with NHS leaders, care providers and decision-makers. Alongside its research, community engagement and volunteer programmes, it also helps people navigate health and care services and champions greater equality of access, ensuring that everyone—particularly those whose voices are less often heard—has the opportunity to shape better health and social care for the future.
